Pastor Jeff continued our study of the book of Mark by emphasizing the healing of blind Bartimaeus in Chapter 10. He paralleled the premise of being able to see without having "vision." While Bartimaeus did not have sight as a "function of the eyes," he could still "see." He had the revelation that Jesus was the Messiah and therefore had the power to heal his eyes. He made it plain for all as he cried out loudly, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me." in verse 47. This should be our aim, to see Jesus as the Son of God and declare it with such fervor that He would ask each of us, "What do you want me to do for you?" Selah
