Today we are talking about the Great Gatsby, the 1974 Robert Redford version. I'm joined by menswear writer Jovan Gauthier-Vincent.

Jovan has written some extensive shownotes for this episode which you can check out over at https://fromtailorswithlove.co.uk/podcasts

Also on the show is Daniel Stroupe from the bespoke department at Turnbull and Asser in New York. T&A were featured quite prominently in this film when Redford launches his shirts across the room at Mia Farrow, you get to see the T&A boxes in the background.

Daniel actually talks about that scene and how they had to switch out the shirts to different fabrics because they just didn't float in the air the way the director imagined it would.
