“We are the only region with the perspective of declining production.”

“The external question is to what extent are our outside suppliers reliable and at what cost they provide the gas. The good news is that there are several outside suppliers who are becoming new ones in the European market, potently the US is there. The bad news is that you still have problems with the potential reliability of the outside suppliers, with Russia you never know and the north African supply has decreased substantially.

“We have abundant gas around Europe but we still have a lot of internal problems in the European system.”

“Each member state should do it’s homework to analyse it’s supply security situation.”
