Now that they are talented as, basically, any team in the league will they be able to put it all together in year one and be a real contender? The Pelicans won the Zion lottery (literally), traded a no doubt top 10 player in the league and added veterans such as JJ Redick and Derrick Favors. Will they have a singular objecting on the season (win as many games as possible?) Or will there also be a developmental objective that at times takes a higher priority?
