Fusion Podcast Episode 8 Proudly Presents Michael Piña  

Michael Piña, or just “Piña”, is a Latinx LGBTQ+ Member of the Latin Dance Community. He made his way into the community as a part of Tina Cavicchios, Next Level Dance Company. A team that breaks boundaries and believes in the inherent dignity and ability of every person. Through this team, he was able to be regarded for his energy, facial expressions and journey. As he continues to navigate his dance experience, he brings his transforming self and journey to the dance floor, as a beginner with a passion for movement. His experiences as a person in long term addiction recovery, being a cis-gender queer male follow, and losing over 200 pounds shape his journey; which he shares through his social media platforms.  Most recently, his journey has taken himself to Los Angeles from Boston with a mind and heart full of dreams. Getting to know Piña is getting to know the journey and “Trusting the Process”. Please feel free to follow him on his journey!
