ReTurning Series: Rebuilding, But Something New - Jarrod Robinson - 6/30/19 - a podcast by GCC

When God’s people returned to Jerusalem to Rebuild, there’s a good chance that what they thought they’d be doing is reconstructing the Wall exactly as it was before it was destroyed. However, the likelihood of that being the case isn’t high. How could it be? New Timber, New Builders, New Vision for the Wall. Yes, it was located at the same place and on the same foundation, but they weren’t building the “old” wall…they were building a new wall. So many wonderful things have come from where we are located at SW 2nd Avenue here in Gainesville…and yes, we are ReBuilding…but we are ReBuilding something new! We should be building something new. As we continue in our “ReTurning” Series, this morning we’ll be talking about remembering the great things from our history and how we can learn from the past, but we aren’t trying to recreate the past…we want and need to build something new.
