The exercise of my Christian freedom must always be determined by brotherly love. Paul ends the chapter with this bold statement. (8:13) “Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.” There are times that we must limit our liberty for the sake of others. This verse transitions to the next section in Paul’s letter, chapter 9.
