Daniel: 9:1-19 | The Prayer of Daniel

We are privileged to listen in on Daniel as he prays to the Lord (1-19).  The second part of Daniel 9 contains some of the most controversial verses in all of scripture.  They are known as “The Seventy Weeks Prophecy.”  Chapter 5 records the fall of Babylon to the Medo-Persian army.  With the fall of Babylon Daniel must have wondered what would be the future of his real home, Jerusalem.
