Isaiah's Gospel

In a few weeks, we will celebrate Easter Sunday focusing upon the resurrection of Jesus.  Before the resurrection was the crucifixion.  The Gospel, 1 Corinthians 15:1-3 is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Historically these events took place around 30 AD.  God revealed the Gospel to Isaiah some 700 years before the cross.  All of the verbs from verse 1 to the first part of verse 10 are in the past tense and all of the pronouns are plural.  In one sense it expresses the fact that God viewed this from eternity as already happening in time.  It also is an expression of what the redeemed nation of Israel will one day say about their Messiah.
