Young disabled people are taking the mic!

For #MentalHealthAwareness week and the Holyrood elections, young GDA members have been speaking up about accessibility of voting, positive tips for mental wellbeing during the pandemic, and life with a hidden impairment - including the pros and cons of an autistic sense of humour! This #MentalHealthMonth dive in and have a listen to what young disabled people have to say.

Glasgow Disability Alliance or GDA is run by and for disabled people, with over 5000 members across Glasgow, of all ages and backgrounds and all types of impairments and long term conditions. GDA unites people through accessible learning and peer support, building the confidence and connections we need to take the lead, participate in our own lives and communities to build a fairer, more equal Scotland.
