Just like how we get bored with amazing technology like iPhones, we can get bored with God's goodness and stop being grateful. The main point is gratitude - being continually thankful for God's salvation through Christ, even if we've been Christians a long time. Avoiding boredom with the gospel and rediscovering wonder at God's grace.
