Deanna at the time was a single mother of 2 and 7 years older. Sparks flew between them immediately and they were married within months of meeting.  We talk about how they have navigated life as Chris became an overnight success and star from American Idol, dealing with infidelity from an empathic standpoint, the ups and down of fame, and raising 5 kids. Plus we talk about how Deanna and Chris agreed upon ethical non-monogamy at certain points in their relationship, and how important it is to love yourself and live authentically.  It is not easy to share your whole soul with the world and open yourself up to others opinions.  I admire and praise her for her strength, vulnerability and commitment to living honestly and open.
