"So we want things fast – fast food, fast internet, fast relationships, fast cars, fast traffic – no traffic jam etc. Sometimes don’t have much patience and the way we react if things are taking longer than usual is with anger. We get frustrated, angry and stressed.

Patience does not come overnight – we really do needs God’s power and his goodness to develop this character trait.

In the bible there are some people that had patience -

There’s job that was extremely ill but remained faithful to God and trusted him patiently to heal him.

Abraham waited patiently to receive the promise of the baby God has promised him.

Esther patiently prayed and fasted for 3 days before seeing the king and patiently waited to tell him about Haman wanting to kill her people – the Jews.

Moses was a patient man who led a group of millions out of Egypt.

But, one thing these people had in common and that is a great connection with God. The more you talk to God the more you will be like him!"
