The question this time attracted my attention, especially with the answers given by the speaker to the question. Previously, the question this time was asked by Rani, namely "what is the role of civic education? preserve / apply these values to youth to improve the development of youth in Indonesia in the current era of globalization? "
Actually, the presenter team was good enough to provide answers to these questions, but in my opinion, the answer is just an introduction, because the team of presenters did not convey the main points being asked.
The main point that is being asked here is "The role of citizenship education in preserving the value of being a good and smart citizen in the current era of globalization.
In my opinion, talking about the role of the PKN, we must first know that it is true that the aim of PKN is to form citizens to become good and smart citizens. The role of PKN in preserving these values can survive in this era of globalization, namely by optimizing the teaching indicators taught in PKN subjects. That way, when teaching in PKN is given optimally to the younger generation in the world of education, it will become a realization of PKN teaching. As well as the role of the PKN in providing democracy teaching to the younger generation in a sustainable manner. . So that the understanding of democracy will be embedded in the minds of the youth for a long time and not for a moment.
