Ep 18: Getting Your Spouse On Board With Your Business - a podcast by Kendra Swalls

I recently had the honor of attending the RISE conference with Rachel Hollis. On day 2 the 1st speaker was her husband Dave Hollis. He talked about the things that stand in your way when chasing a big dream, and went in to detail about the ways he doubted and questions Rachel's big dreams. It was one of my favorite talks of the whole conference because it's easy for a woman to stand up there and say "this is how you get your husband on board with your business", but it's another thing to hear it from the man's point of view. To hear him talk about fears and concerns I wouldn't have even considered.

 

So, originally this episode was going to be just me talking you through the steps you can take to get loved ones on board with your business...but then I had an idea. What if I had my wonderful hubby on here so he could tell his side of the story. So I'm super excited (and I little nervous, because I never know what he is going to say) to have Derek...aka Mr Swalls.... joining use for this episode. Hopefully our journey to where we are now will help you navigate your own conversations and relationships with the loved ones in your life.
