She Kills Monsters is a play based on a journey of discovery sparked by a D&D adventure.

She Kills Monsters is a comedic romp into the world of fantasy role-playing games. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen (“Raya and the Last Dragon”) offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.

The company Worlds Elsewhere has taken upon their shoulders to create a production that will be live streamed on Sat, October 30th, 2021 at 7:00pm USA Eastern Time. And they are gathering money for charity too!

I had the enormous pleasure of talking to Mike Fatum, director of this play, about the challenges, rewards, reasons and what they have done to make sure this play lives up to everyone’s expectations and then some.
