Lost Soul – is a teaching on how our souls were lost, we were separated from God. While this is not something many of us think is a reality for us, God Word ensures us that before we came to accept Christ Jesus as Lord of our lives, our souls were lost, disconnected from God. Even though we may have been taught about God from an early age, we had not accepted, nor walked in the Ways of God. We knew of the Lord, but we lived separate and apart from the teaching of God the Father and Christ Jesus. When the Lord knocked at our door, we did not answer. Once we give our soul to the Lord, we have to continue to seek God with all our heart, with all our mind, with all our body, and with all our soul. Our soul being saved is way more important than money, possessions, fame, or healing. This world is not our home, this body is temporary; our soul is what will receive eternal life and enter into God’s kingdom. Our soul is what needs saving, nothing we brought, purchased, or made will crossover from death to live, only our soul. Our soul is what’s at stake, let no one fool you into thinking its anything else God is interested in saving.
