Make Time For God – Busy, busy …. We are all so busy, therefore we look for ways to shorten our time with God. We want church service to be short as possible, our prayers are short, our time studying God’s Word is short if we read God’s Word at all. God honors those who seek him, those who spend time in prayer, those who study his Word. We must make time for God, to ensure God has time for us when we are in need. God’s Word is filled with scriptures teaching us about how we need to continuously seek the Lord so we can find him, so in our time of need, the Lord answers our prayers. This requires us to spend time with God. We are such a “me” generation, we have short attention spans, we can only pay attention for a short period, everything has to entertain us, or we quickly get bored. The more we make time for God, the less boring it will be because God will use us in a mighty way. Satan wants to captivate our thoughts and minds, to keep us busy and away from God. If we want the promises of God, his protection, his blessings, his grace, and mercy, then we need to make time for God, so he makes time for us.
