This is our 100th episode and we got one of our favorite guests back on the podcast.  In this episode we speak with Rob from the YouTube channel “Adeptus Psychonautica”.  Rob’s YouTube channel is based on his journey through psychedelic culture and exploration through consciousness.  Rob gives us his views on the discourse with psychedelics in our culture.

    Rob just came back from a 12 day Ayahuasca retreat in the Amazon rain forest in Peru.  He tells us about the different retreats he’s been to in Peru and the differences with each one.  He shared one of the most powerful experiences he had in this last retreat.  He tells us how Ayahuasca helped clear a lot of emotional and mental baggage he’s been carrying with him.

    Rob tells about how the Shipibo tradition in the Amazon rain forest treats the psychedelic experience.  He tells us about what a plant diet in these traditions mean and how it works with Ayahuasca.  He shares the knowledge he learnt from their traditions and how they use sound and music to work with someone who is taking Ayahuasca.  He also tells us about how taking Ayahuasca orally or compares to synthetic DMT in his experiences.
