A retired golf writer, active freelancer, blogger for African American Golfers Digest and petemcdaniel.com. Former senior writer/contributing editor, Golf Digest & Golf World - 1993-2013. Primary responsibility to collaborate on instructional and feature articles with Tiger Woods. Prior to Golf Digest, served as a senior writer for Golf World, sports editor of the Hendersonville Times-News, where he earned numerous NC Press Association writing awards.  Among his accolades, the Harlem YMCA’s Black Achiever in Industry Award, co-authored Earl Woods’ best-selling book, “Training A Tiger.” Inducted into the National Black Golf Hall of Fame & the African American Golfers Hall of Fame, co-authored Tiger Woods’ all-time best-selling golf instruction book, “How I Play Golf,” wrote the critically acclaimed “Uneven Lies: The Heroic Story of African Americans in Golf.”
