But days before his 19th birthday, on December 4th, 1976, John headed to the south of town, a place known as “Under the Hill,” and disappeared. John’s family, bandmates, and many friends found his abandoned station wagon just south of that area the following day, but the 18-year-old was nowhere to be found. At least not yet. Part 1 of 2.
