Are you ready donate your time and talent and give back but not sure if you can squeeze it into your schedule? Join me D. Page Huey and Uhuru and learn the many ways you can volunteer and make an impact.

Page Huey has worked in the Philadelphia region for the last 25 years in both the private sector and for not-for-profits.   She has worked in recruitment/talent acquisition, business relationship management, sales, project management and as a non-profit director.  Page loves business and learning more about the diverse business community in our region.  Page is an avid networker who enjoys making connections, connecting others and developing those relationships.  Page is the current Club President of her Rotary Club in the Philadelphia area and has been an active Rotarian for 25 years.  Page has a Certificate in Human Resources Management and Services from Villanova University and BA in Public Relations/Marketing from Temple University.

For over 20 years, they have collected furniture donations from community supporters. Uhuru Furniture represents the sector of Philadelphia that wants to see genuine change and support sustainable economic development by and for the African community. Supporters contribute to this work by donating furniture, shopping and volunteering. Uhuru Furniture is different than a charity thrift store - 100% of our profits benefit APEDF!
