Ralph Bell is an African American who worked for Billy Graham during the Civil Rights Movement. During this time, Ralph met with young African Americans to encourage them to stand up for what was right. Many felt conflicted about how they could be a part of the Civil Rights Movement and still maintain their Christian faith. Both Billy Graham and Ralph Bell took bold public stands against racism. They agreed that “Racism is a problem of sin, not skin.” Listen to his story of how Ralph stood up for Civil Rights on this episode of ‘GPS: God. People. Stories.’
