Surrendering Our Idols - a podcast by GPS

In this preaching Selly dives into the Word of God, specifically in 1 Samuel chapter 5. Here we see how the Ark of the Lord after being captured and stored in a pagan temple, would be exalted.

Dagon, an Ashades idol, would be found prostrate, with his face at the ground in front of the Ark of the Lord. The last time it happened, Dagon was found dismembered.

Similarly, every idol in our lives will be knocked down. When the presence of God is truly within us, every idol must surrender. But to do this we cannot start seeking His presence one day and end this the next. We are called to persistently come into the presence of God.

Ask yourselves the following:

Does the Ark live within me?

Who is sitting on the throne?
