World’s Best Pickled Jalapeno Poppers - by Jan Moore



Ingredients:



2 large cans of whole pickled jalapenos



1 Package of your favorite bacon



1 package of cream cheese



1 cup brown sugar



½ tablespoon of chili powder



½ tablespoon of cumin



1 teaspoon of kosher salt



¼ teaspoon coarse black pepper



1 teaspoon garlic



 



Instruction



  1. Mix brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper and garlic in a bowl and set it aside to use as your rub.


  2. Cut the jalapenos length wise.


  3. Stuff the peppers with cream cheese.


  4. Wrap the cream cheese stuffed jalapeno with ½ strip of bacon (make sure the bacon wraps around the popper at least 2x)


  5. Secure the bacon with a toothpick.


  6. Coat your bacon wrapped poppers in the rub you mixed earlier.


  7. Cook on indirect heat @250 degrees for about 30-40 minutes (until the bacon gets cooked to your liking)


  8. Enjoy!
