Neal McCready (RebelGrove.com) and Jay G. Tate (AuburnSports.com) reconvene to discuss a variety of topics including:

• Jay apologizes for gently disparaging men who savor mixed drinks. It was a bad take, to be fair.

• Legendary Temple basketball coach John Chaney died. He was great.

• Does responsible napping actually help with mental acuity?

• The final two Toys R Us stores have closed, taking with them the dreams of many 70s, 80s and 90s kids. Neal fondly remembers the Monroe, La., version of everyone's favorite toy store.

• Dustin Pedroia has retired. He's probably not a Hall of Fame player, but what about Curt Schilling? He's been in the news lately.

• Dustin Diamond, who played "Screech" on Saved By The Bell, died Monday at the age of 44. Neal had Diamond on as a radio guest many years ago and remembers the whole thing fondly.

• New research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association provides some very interesting data regarding concussions in football. Some rule changes have made games safer for the players, but now it's time to think more deeply about how practices are run.
