Lewis Koski is the Chief Operating Officer of Metrc – the nation’s leading solution for cannabis and hemp governance. Koski was director of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division, where he helped build the first state agency to develop and implement medical and adult-use cannabis policy. He most recently co-founded Freedman & Koski, where he partnered with government agencies to build cannabis policies. Koski is recognized internationally as an expert in formative cannabis policy, as he helped to develop regulations that balance cannabis industry growth and public safety. He holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on International Business and is a Doctoral Candidate in Public Administration with a focus on policy analysis and public participation in rulemaking.
