Phil and Josh invite regular contributor Joe Passero from FanSided/Beyond The Flag back to discuss all things NASCAR after a wild and destructive weekend at Daytona which saw Austin Dillon get into the playoffs, Ryan Blaney sneak in by three points, and a bunch of disappointed drivers including Martin Truex, Jr.

Rain played a major role with most of the field being destroyed with just over 20 laps to go.  The guys go over what can be done and what should change with this being the third successive year where rain has caught out leaders in a race.

Accidents with the Gen7/NextGen car have become more of a talking point with the continued absence of Kurt Busch and giving up his waiver to race for a title along with other drivers speaking of the after effects of incidents being worse.  The crew get into that and what it may mean for the future regarding the car and for the drivers themselves.

Kyle Busch said he had no news but Aric Almirola, Daniel Suarez, Zane Smith, Greg Ives and Craftsman all made announcements which were covered.  The guys get into the points leading towards the playoff opening Southern 500 at Darlington.

Jeremy Clements took a crucial and season-changing victory in the Wawa 250 at Daytona after rain delayed the start.  Clements was one of five cars that didn't have significant damage after numerous accidents plagued the race.  Points were discussed with this sudden change along with picks made by all three for the Cup and XFinity race before Josh's Sim Segment closed the show.
