Phil and Josh worked on Labor Day to provide E133 of the GSP to the fans and cover a busy motorsports weekend while leading into the start of NFL in 2022.  The guys get into "That Jones Boy from Byron, MI" winning his second Southern 500 along with the 200th victory for the No.43 in Cup Series competition.  In contrast, many of the playoff eligible drivers had issues including William Clyde Elliott II and Kevin Harvick along with the points leading into Kansas. In the XFinity race, Gragson gets his 4th victory of 2022 after last lap contact between Sheldon Creed and Kyle Larson.  Even with the action between those three, AJ Allmendinger gets closer to a possible regular season title.

Speaking of titles, the IndyCar Series ran at Portland with Scott McLaughlin winning his third race and pole of the 2022 season, holding off points leader and teammate Will Power.  However, Power still holds a 20-point lead heading into the season finale at Laguna Seca over Scott Dixon and Josef Newgarden.  Phil and Josh discuss all of the happenings and their thoughts on those still in and those who were eliminated.

Formula 1 saw the usual with Max Verstappen winning the Dutch GP, but it was not as straightforward as it has been at most races, with Mercedes having pace and a possibility to win.  Multiple yellows affected the strategy and led to the eventual result, leaving some like Lewis Hamilton pretty unhappy.

Ferrari continues to show why they are closer to Mercedes than Red Bull with their strategy calls and constant errors - mostly focused to Carlos Sainz at Zandvoort.  The biggest news was the notion of Colton Herta being the favorite for a seat at AlphaTauri, if he can get a Superlicense.  Phil and Josh talk about his candidacy along with other silly season tidbits leading into Monza.

The Roundup has Phil broaching the NHRA US Nationals, Extreme E in Chile, WEC at Fuji Speedway, WSBK at Magny Cours and Supercars at Pukekohe before Josh returns for the NFL season preview for both the Jacksonville Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers along with their picks for the Superbowl.  Previews and Picks come for the F1 Italian Grand Prix, IndyCar at Laguna Seca, and the NASCAR triple-header at Kansas Speedway before Josh's Sim Segment and Show Close.
