Onida, South Dakota grower Chuck Todd says he hopes to start harvesting his sunflowers this week. A neighboring farmer has started to harvest and is experiencing good yields, in some areas 3,100 pounds. This year his biggest insect issue was the longhorn beetle which he found in a few of his fields.
