This week, the Consig made a call north of the border, and a Kool guy in Toronto  who bets answered.  THIS IS THE SHOW.  Kris Abbott  (@CoolBetKris), Director of Content at CoolBetCanada & Sports Betting Analyst heard on TSN, Sportsnet, Audacy & ESPN,  joins Dave, Carl & Neuby with the summer days  of August edition of the Cash Considerations Show.

Listen as Kris tells the boys his story from growing up in Newfoundland, Canada to broadcasting games to working for CoolBetCanada, Canada's newest sports betting, poker and casino website.  After school, Kris with a K, hung up his skates & cleats to broadcast junior hockey and coach youth sports.  With his knowledge of the game, Abbott found his way to OddsShark where he got into the sports betting content world.  Not just a hockey guy, Kris went from calling games to picking games and talking about it.  Now at CoolBet, Kris is making markets, looking at numbers and finding ways to engage customers.

Even though you may not know how to spell his name, Kris will do it for the 10,000th time in a perfect Canadian accent. He won't even correct you when you spell it wrong, and you are -500 to spell it wrong.  Be sure to listen close when Neuby asks Kris about poutine, "Canada's national dish."  Dave started speaking Italian, gravy was mentioned, and there were no fries left for anybody.  Things were just getting started, and Kris came out of the corner to stay with the boys after a hot food take you won't forget.

Baseball comes first and Dave actually remembered to say bon dia, bon tarde, bon noche.  Is baseball interesting?  Even if you don't think so, the hardball segment will have your attention from the first pitch.  The Phillies are in first place, and Neuby is here for it.   The Reds are back in the discussion and the boys brought back Si or No for their playoff chances.  What are the odds telling you about the NL West?  Why aren't the Giants the favorite yet?  The real payoff pitch comes when the AL East is discussed.  The Blue Jays are back in Toronto, and they are on the rise in the standings as the Red Sox are in a free fall.  It's Carl vs Kris.  C comes before K but the Jays may pass the Sox by the end of the week.  The boys prove baseball is interesting and fun before the football segment kicks off.

Dave hands off the football talk to Neuby, and he takes it to the house.  Nobody knows shit about the preseason so Neuby went straight to the regular season.  Who is going to win the AFC West and the NFC South?  He gives the other guys the odds and asks who is going to win, but more importantly, is there any reason to bet them with those odds?  Finally, it's FOOTBALL talk.

Lastly, the coordinating producer/social media manager/co host Carl H-A-S-C-A-L-L had one question on “Carl’s Corner” segment of the show.  CH wanted to know what posters you had up in your room as a kid?  The answers will surprise you.   Carl had lights, Dave had hats, Kris had a sled and Neuby had a sponge.  Go back in time and get posterized in Carl's Corner.

As it always does, The Take a Minute segment closed the show on Cash Considerations.  CH delivered the package, Neuby just wanted to say hello, Kris is done with it all,  and Dave has a couple special birthday shaht ahts that aren't just about a number.

Sit back, listen in & laugh a bunch to this special August episode of the Cash Considerations podcast.
