This week, the Consig made a call to Long Island and got an executive to dress things up with the boys.  THIS IS THE SHOW.  Mike Blewitt, a host & analyst on SportsGrid & SiriusXM204, joins Dave, Carl and Neuby with the mid May edition of the Cash Considerations Show.

Listen as Mike tells the boys how he went from Queens, NY to the SportsGrid studios.   After college at Boston College, Mike was a sports biz executive who took some voice over lessons and started a second career as a show host. Always looking sharp, Mike is a business guy who is all about his Yankees and Knicks, takes a pass on the coffee, and puts in the work to sleep better and stay off the hoop court. Somehow, Mike even finds a way to cash the under on the Brady mention prop in his interview.

Blewitt sticks around with the boys to talk sports, gambling and life. First stop is the NBA. The play in tournament has started. Even Carl knows the Celtics have no chance against #AnybodyButTheNets but says Tatum could get a game or two. Neuby helped Dave to remember who the #1 seed in the East is with a song. Mike sat back and listened until they got to the Knicks. The boys started playing “Layin or Takin” with couple NBA series prices, but the one thing they all could all agree on was that it had to be #AnybodyButTheLakers in the West.

The Stanley Cup playoffs are the best playoffs, and the “Pulling the Goalie” segment does not disappoint. Carl was focused and excited about the Bruins double OT win. Dave took a shift to discuss the Penguins-Islanders and the Wild-Vegas series, and the lacrosse guys Neuby and Blewitt took short shifts. Unlike the real games, there was no OT, no face washes, and no power plays. The ice is good as the boys skate through this segment.

Nobody can hit anymore in baseball, but the boys work the count and hit a couple gap shots. Neuby starts off the Ohtani MVP talk and everyone gets a plate appearance. The
odds say he is going to win it, but what do the boys say? The Red Sox play the Phillies this weekend so there has to be a pick. Then, the unwritten rules come up, and things really pick up. Dave is pitching to contact, and Mike, Carl and Noobs bat around the order. The White Sox are the best team in baseball, the refs still stink, and water is still wet. Dave doesn’t have an office but made the lineup change before the benches emptied.

Lastly, the coordinating producer/social media manager/co host Carl H-A-S-C-A-L-L went with a food question on the “Carl’s Corner” segment of the show. Tell us your personal, best, fast food burger and fries. Carl lead off with pretzel bun, Dave piled on the fries like Primanti’s then Neuby the Foody took it to another level with his burger talk. Mike is married to a dietician, eats clean, and serves up some onions with his burger. Nobody gets burned, Mike has on his SPF 50, but the hot dog debate has Mike grilling Hascall like a good sausage.

As it always does, The Take a Minute segment closed the show on Cash Considerations. Carl wants a full house in Boston, Neuby says put up or shut up, Mike ties up things with the kids & sports, and Dave gave the Consig kids each a shout out before he gave three shits about shit that nobody knows shit about.
