His background is electronics, where his work involved communication satellite systems and digital radar. His study of Christian faith combined with his ability to describe complex scientific subjects in easily understandable ways led him to join the creation ministry full time in 1999. He lives in Kitchener, Ontario, with his wife and their five children.
