Versed in the ways of the interwebs, Lindsay Arakawa is the former Creative Social Media Strategist of Refinery29 where she oversaw creative strategy and production for social media accounts @refinery29 and @29rooms.

We’re in this transitional period where, not only are the constructs encompassing career being redefined, but the very ways in which we associate ourselves with said career.

Doing a complete 180, Lindsay’s found herself in the heart of Tokyo, teaching English, building upon her freelance portfolio, and allowing for creative passions to further unfold. There’s such beauty in this conversation in that it’s captured someone in a moment of realignment with themselves, when so often all that is shown of one’s journey is the end result.
