"Jesus is speaking the same thing to his church today that He spoke when He was here in the flesh. Today the church wants to run away from the process. They want to get a quick fix! A 5 step program! A touch from a tv evangelist or a bottle of oil that will apparently fix all your problems! God has the key to your deliverance. He has the key to your sanctification! He calls it the FIRE! 1 Peter 1:7 - “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:” When miners find Gold in the ground, they don't just pick it up and sell it. The Gold is mixed with dirt or other sediments from the ground. So they take the two and put it through the fire until the Gold is separated from the matter of the earth! This is what God is doing with his children, refining the world out of them: Old ways, carnal thinking, mindsets and all of the above that is not of the kingdom. Everyone thinks when they come to God it's a onetime boom and your perfect! Yes and No! You now have a spirit that is made in the image of God! God sees you in the spirit! Glory! But you still have a mind that thinks like the world! Now many people know that we must go through trials and be renewed in the spirit of our mind daily.. Though when it comes to facing the trials and refining, most people fight it and even rebuke God’s work like it's the enemy! We need to learn how to embrace the Fire! Embrace the testing! Trials! And tribulations! Let's learn and enable our spirit to embrace it all and soar above the valleys! " By Joe Pinto
