Elton John could have tackled better - a podcast by Derek Johnson

Oh what a painful loss it was to the UCLA Bruins on Friday night at the Rose Bowl. Derek, JoeEDangerously and special guest UW_Doog_Bot break it all down. The Huskies fell behind 40-16 before Penix & Co mounted a comeback to close the gap to 40-32. The Huskies struggled to tackle, struggled to cover receivers, made horrible turnovers and committed stupid penalties. Even coach Grubb called for a pitch on his own goal line that was bungled and led to a UCLA safety and a surrendering of momentum. All in all, a horrible night. 

Will future opponents now have the Nick Holt Blueprint on the Dawgs? Or will DeBoer and Company clean up the mess and come back better against ASU. I think we will see a much improved team against ASU on Oct 8th. I'd say the Dawgs win rather easily, say 34-17?
