The boys break down the beginning of the Kalen DeBoer era at Washington, as UW tops Kent State 45-20 to win the "Don James Bowl". Michael Penix was everything we hoped for, albeit against subpar competition. The offensive line and defense looked suspect. But it is the season opener, after all. We also discussed the Pac-12's marquee struggles as opposed the SEC, which went 14-0 in its opening weekend. It just means more, apparently. Shout outs go to Baseman, CreepyCoug and desperate and pitiful Duck fan Mike Seaver.

Of note, JoeEDangerously and WoolleyDoog were driving home from the game in THE BUS and the engine made lots of noise at times. It caused your host to shout to be heard, but in listening to the audio playback it's clear I could have spoken at normal volume and been heard just fine. In any event, we will soon be trying new software and recording over the internet, for hopefully clearer audio.
