SIBO is an overgrowth of either pathogenic or beneficial bacteria in the small intestine.

In the presence of this overgrowth of bacterial the small intestine no longer can function properly to digest and absorb food which leads to multiple nutrient deficiencies (and subsequent systemic symptoms and conditions) as well as the common IBS symptoms of bloating, pain, gas, cramping, diarrhea or constipation.

Studies show the prevalence of SIBO in rosacea patient populations ranges from 46% to 66%, and in at least two studies treatment of SIBO was shown to improve rosacea.

To shed more light on how SIBO and Rosacea are linked, Marni will be speaking with Kirsty Taylor of The Nourishing Way.

Kirsty is a Clinical Nutritionist, Wellness Enthusiast and Founder of The Nourishing Way.  She has a degree in Bachelor Health Science majoring in Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine at Endeavour College of Natural Health and a qualified Health and Nutrition Coach through Cadence Health. She has a passion for combining science with connection to yourself and your surroundings, giving you the confidence to make decisions over your health.

Listen with us as Kirsty shares the common misconception and treatments of SIBO and how it's related to our overall skin health.
