In the national month of recovery, Dr. Joe Craig and Nancy Herold offer a special interview with Jackie Endraske author of "Dudley the Gorilla", a book which Ms. Endraske crafted to assist children in coping with the family disease of alcoholism.
While teaching in the public elementary school system Jackie began to notice the relationship between "Dudley" the large stuffed gorilla in her classroom and the ability of children to use it as a vehicle for healing and safe communication.  She later formulated the book featuring a gorilla  by the same name to expand the healing outside of her classroom, so that others could receive benefit as well.
