Corinne Gouget was a remarkable woman. A strong advocate against the use of aspartame and other food additives in France, she wrote a handy book on food additives which was small enough to be taken to the supermarket and the safety - or lack thereof - of various additives could be looked up when considering a purchase. She spoke to various groups and schools, traveling and corresponding with countless sufferers of aspartame poisoning. Tragically, she lost custody of her two daughters to her ex-husband who was a heavy consumer of aspartame products. She tirelessly fought the French court system in vain, due to how bureaucracies and systemic mainstream beliefs often favor corporate support over helping people and turn a blind eye to the truths of science and real suffering. Corinne Gouget will be remembered with great love and admiration.
