Bio:

Andrew Slater is an alternative and folk singer-songwriter from New Castle, Pennsylvania.

Andrew started writing songs as a teenager and sang and played guitar and keyboard in alternative rock bands, and would also sing and play in religious settings. Over the years, Andrew’s writing and creating new songs continued and that resulted in him releasing 16 songs over the last year and a half. From his debut album Sunny Morning - featuring “Home” and “Scotland Park” to his latest singles “Through” (April 16, 2021) and “Forward” (October 1, 2021)

Much of Andrew’s writing centers on a past of trauma, anxiety, and depression as well as peace and hope. Andrew’s songs tell stories of scars, truth, and love. He writes songs for remembrance, songs of gratefulness and songs for justice. He writes for those feeling downcast and outcast to let them know that they are not alone. His influences include Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, and Jason Upton.

Currently Andrew is writing and recording new material for release in 2022.
