London-based singer/songwriter Danielle Morgan is making a big impact in the UK and


internationally, sharing her music, performed with passion and attitude. Those who have seen


her "live" write and talk about how they are uplifted by Danielle’s universal themes and original


melodies, delivered with real power and honest emotion, supported by her amazing


band. Danielle’s compositions are diverse in topic & eclectic in mood, drawing on her strong


Irish roots and London upbringing. She writes about her life experiences that everyone can


relate to and interpret for themselves.




Danielle began her musical journey at a young age, and it was her path to enter the world-


famous BRIT School in London. She has composed over 70 original songs mainly with co-


writer John Merrigan, and has worked with highly credited producers TheRealJonSmith, David




Courtney and Nick Hook, among others.


Recorded at London’s Abbey Road Studios, Danielle released her debut EP, ‘The Session’ in


June 2016 to critical acclaim. 2019 saw Danielle inking a global distribution deal with Universal


Music to build on her strong fanbase and social media profile.


In January 2020, Danielle took her talents to the new musical drama “The Story of Love in


the Harbour” in which she performs her new compositions with a live orchestra in a stirring


historical romance set in Ireland and front-line France during WW1. The show received


widespread critical acclaim and despite the enforced cancellation of a UK tour, it is planned to


go back on tour in 2021. The show has been adapted to an audio / radio format, receiving


international airplay.


July 2020 saw the release of a new EP “The Faces of Danielle Morgan” further showing her


versatility as an artist. Danielle and the band have been busy during a challenging year despite


many cancellations of gigs and festivals over the summer. It’s been incredibly creative time


with 7 videos of original material being released and viewed almost 700,000 times on-line,


further cementing an intimate relationship with fans all over the world. The band members are:


John Merrigan (drums) / David Barbour (guitar) / Peter Rutherford (bass) / Andrew


Dascalopoulos (keys & guitar) / Lucy Dee (backing vocals) / Rob McCann (harmonica).


December 2020 ended on a high with the release of 4 more new tracks, penned by Danielle


with co-writers John Merrigan and Dave Barbour in her new EP: “Locked Down”. Featuring


diverse genres of rock/soul/reggae proving it’s difficult to limit description of her music. In


addition, an emotional Christmas song “Christmas Like The Old Days” was also released.


2021 begins with more new music under production and a new musical theatre project begun.
