Kira is originally from the USA, where she attended the Orange County High School of the Arts and went on to receive her B.F.A. in Theatre Arts from Stephens College. Since graduating, she worked and toured regionally around the United States before moving to New Zealand in 2015. Kira's biggest passion is tap dancing, and she has taught at various studios around the world and choreographed for shows such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Follies, and The Boyfriend.

Her previous performing credits include Legally Blonde, Chicago (The Court Theatre); Catch Me If You Can (Blackboard Theatre Collective); Les Misérables, Wicked (Showbiz CHC); White Christmas, 9 to 5 (Prather Entertainment Group); Legally Blonde (The Rev Theatre Co); Singin’ in the Rain, High School Musical (Little Theatre on the Square); and Weird Romance (USA West Coast premiere, European premiere in France and Scotland).

Kira is a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association and the Screen Actors Guild and is represented by Kathryn Rawlings & Associates.

She currently plays "Jane" in Power Rangers Dino Fury on Nickelodeon.
