It was a wonderful chat between co host Emme Lentino and the talented songwriter, Meghan Williams. She is a California Bay Area Singer-Songwriter with broad roots spanning the Midwest, East and West Coasts. An old soul, Meghan sees the world through writers eyes and hears it to her own soundtrack. Her unique sound and lyrical style stem from vast musical influences ranging from Pop, Hip Hop, and R&B to Funk, Folk, and Country. Major influences include Lauryn Hill, Sheryl Crow, Aretha Franklin, Leon Bridges and Chris Stapleton to name a few. Meghan is a multi song award winner and semi-finalist for the West Coast Songwriters Music Association, a prior attendee of The Songwriting School of Los Angeles, and an active member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International. She floats naturally across genres in her co-writing with Indie Artists such as rising standout Lisa Heller and her independent songwriting as an ASCAP member, pitching her one of a kind songs to Publishers for commercial release.

Growing up in a musical and faith driven family, Meghan began singing with siblings at home and in church from an early age. She continued singing in competitive choral and a cappella groups in high school and college and later learned to play guitar while honing her craft of songwriting. With a background in English Literature, a License in Clinical Social Work, a passion for people, lyrics, stories and an inherent sense of melody, Meghan is the girl you want in the room when bringing a song to life.
