Join Captain Eddie in the Heart of Indie studio as he chats with pop- folk artist, Riley Whittaker!


Riley Whittaker is a 16 year old pop-folk singer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Sedona AZ and now living in Nashville, TN. She has been writing songs since she was 12 years old.  Riley has performed throughout Arizona, California, Canada and Nashville and was selected to perform this year at the 2020 NAMM Show in Anaheim.


Riley has 8 original singles released and is in the process of recording an EP, which is set to come out in 2021. Her incredible vocals along with her prolific songwriting are beyond her years, and instantly recognizable, lending a unique style to her music.




In addition to playing guitar, Riley also plays the keyboard, ukulele and violin.  Riley was scheduled to play as First Chair Violinist at Carnegie Hall in March 2020 with her Arizona Youth Orchestra, but events were canceled due to COVID-19.




Riley is also a co-founder and on the board of directors with Next Generation Nashville (NGN).  NGN is a group of Nashville based teens working together during the difficult and uncertain times of COVID-19 to provide the safest possible opportunities for teens pursuing music to keep the music alive in 2021.
