When your father spent the early 1980s winning AMA drag racing championships for Vance & Hines on both funny and pro stock motorcycles, it’s no surprise that you’re somewhat destined to be a gearhead. You see this is how our guest, Kahn Media’s Cory Burns grew up. He started riding motorcycles at the age of nine on a Honda XR80 and now at age 32, spends time riding a wicked Aprilia Tuono at tracks across California.

His professional career started off working in an auto parts warehouse at age 18 when he was fresh out of high school. Then, thanks to a family friend that owned a public relations firm he was granted an internship in PR. After two years at that agency, he left, joined Kahn Media in its infancy, and now, after nearly 12 years is Vice President of Accounts, managing OEM and motorcycle brands, performance aftermarket companies, museums, specialty car builders and more.

On this episode the Hemmings Hot Rod BBQ Podcast we welcome Cory Burns to talk motorcycles, mountain bikes, public relations and even EVs vs petrol from a man who has vast experience with both!
