If you’re a follower of Hemmings media, then you’ll no doubt know about our recently launched Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat build series, “Project RAMPART”. The series follows our team as they convert a 710-horsepower Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat into the ultimate track-side support vehicle. As a bonus, a benefit of doing a series like this are the amazing partners and products you’re introduced to along the way.

Case in point, the Power Tank portable C02 on-board air system. This is a product that we never knew we needed until it was introduced to us during our Durango build. In short, it takes the place of those plug-in air compressors by providing users with enough compressed air to operate small air tools, inflate tires and use power blow guns in off-road and track settings. On this week’s Hemmings Hot Rod BBQ podcast, Power Tank founder Steve Sasaki, along with Media Manager Tyler Sasaki, sit down with us to explain how this amazing product was created, and what their plans are for the future.
