Hemmings Talks 2005-2014 Ford Mustang S197 - a podcast by Hemmings

It’s been an icon for almost 60-years and has what is arguably the most well know name in the automotive kingdom. We speak of course about the Ford Mustang, a car that’s American as baseball and apple pie. What started out in the mid-1960s as a little mild-mannered coupe, eventually morphed into one of the greatest automobiles the world has ever known. There was a time however in the early 2000’s when Ford almost killed off the Mustang, and with that, an automotive legend.

Then, in 2005, something wonderful happened. The blue oval released the S197 Mustang - a retro styled throwback to the original fastbacks that grabbed our imaginations in magazines and movies for almost six decades.
