Pizza deliveries, valet parking and a chance meeting with a Hollywood Director on the set of a car commercial. That’s how the career of professional stunt driver and stunt double Sera Trimble began. Sometimes finding your passion is hard, unless of course it rushes by you one day while you’re parking someone else’s car in the parking lot of a Seattle restaurant. And although you probably don’t recognize her, you’ve definitely seen her work in feature films, on television and all over the internet. As one of the premier stunt professionals in the entertainment industry today, Sera Trimble has the talent to make vehicles dance in a way that few can match. From slides and j-turns, to high-speed chases a precision stunts, Sera has probably forgotten more about precision driving then most of us will ever know.

This week on the Hemmings Hot Rod BBQ we sit down with Sera and talk about her career and how her persistence and passion made her one of the most sought-after names when it comes to getting that perfect on-camera shot! We also pull a stunning 1985 Porsche 911 widebody from our classifieds and go over why it may just be the perfect iteration of 80’s performance.
