Alzheimer's Disease is a neurodegenerative disease that can present itself with both physical and emotional hardships. The experiences of the caregivers of patients with Alzheimer's are often left out of the conversation, but are ones that take a serious toll on the health and wellbeing of these caregivers -  who are often family members. This episode discusses the nature of the caregiver experience as the patient progresses through the stages of Alzheimer's, and the consequential outcomes for them that often emerge from it.
